# Handle retries and duplicates

> At-least-once delivery, retries, and idempotent consumers.

  This documentation describes the upcoming 1Funnel External Integration API.

* Delivery is at-least-once over HTTPS POST
* No ordering guarantee
* Exponential retries with jitter for up to 24 hours
* HTTP 2xx acknowledges receipt (not async processing completion)
* Deduplicate on envelope `id` / `1Funnel-Webhook-Id`
* Exhausted retries become terminal `failed_exhausted` internally

Return 2xx only after durable acceptance of the event (or a dedupe hit).
