# SMS overview

> Individual SMS, bulk SMS, templates, and delivery reporting.

  This documentation describes the upcoming 1Funnel External Integration API.

  The documented API endpoints and authentication services are not yet available
  for public integration.

  You can explore the API specifications, request and response schemas, webhook
  events, and integration guides.

  Sandbox and production availability will be announced separately.

SMS capabilities cover:

* Individual message submission and retrieval
* Bulk message submission and processing status
* Templates with immutable revision pinning
* Merchant-visible message status and delivery reporting

Public bulk resource path: `/sms/bulk-messages` (there is no `/sms/batches`).

Permissions include `sms.message.send`, `sms.message.read`,
`sms.bulk_message.create`, `sms.bulk_message.read`, `sms.template.read`,
and `sms.template.write`.
