# Bulk SMS

> Submit bulk SMS and interpret processing versus delivery.

`POST /v1/businesses/{businessId}/sms/bulk-messages`

Required permission: `sms.bulk_message.create`.

Recipients are supplied inline (not via file upload). Recipient limits and
validation rules are defined in the OpenAPI contract.

**Processing `completed` means the primary processing pass finished.** It does
**not** mean every recipient was delivered. Delivery reporting is separate and
may be incomplete; unavailable reporting must not be fabricated as zeros.

Retrieve the bulk resource and recipient list with `sms.bulk_message.read`.
